Postage

Orders can be sent in either an Australia Post Regular Post satchel or an Express Post satchel for delivery within Australia.

To ensure the correct postage cost is applied select your preferred options based on the number of items in your order, to avoid unnecessary processing delays.  One Sheet set is postage for a Single Item.  If the incorrect postage option is selected, you will be advised of the correct cost for payment prior to goods being made and sent.

Australia Post Express Post satchel offers the next business day delivery in the Australia Posts Express network for urgent orders.    Refer to Australia Post  for further information.  Usually processing times still apply before your item is ready to be dispatched.

A Signature on Delivery captures a signature of the recipient upon delivery for an additional cost ensuring your parcel is not left unattended in a safe drop location.  Items left is a safe drop location are considered delivered whether you receive them or not.

We suggest you track the progress of your order:  Australia Post Track My OrderRegister for email or SMS updates on your delivery so you know when it will be delivered and can provide alternate delivery options if no one will be home.  For more information please visit:  Australia Post Tracking Options.

Once posted by us, your Australia Post regular parcel should arrive in 2 to 5 workings days (Queensland and major cities – other areas may take up to a week or more depending on Australia Post). These delivery time frames are an indication only as provided by Australia Post and we cannot guarantee them.

Should your parcel not be received within the expected time frame, you will need  to lodge a missing parcel enquiry with Australia Post.

We accept no responsibility for:

  • Delays in delivery resulting from circumstances beyond our control where we have sent or lodged your parcel with the transport company or Australia Post within the required time frames.
  • Missing parcels and suggest you select ‘Signature on Delivery’ postage option otherwise Australia Post may deliver your parcel even if no one home at your own risk.
  • Parcels Returned to Sender (RTS) by Australia Post.  RTS items can take in excess of 10 Business Days to be received by us.
  • Damage caused during delivery by Australia Post, which are beyond our control.

Insurance for loss of items is available for an additional cost.  Please request this when ordering in order comments and wait for confirmation of cost prior to finalising payment.

Uninsured items that are misplaced by Australia Post are not the responsibility of dressups by Tina although we record the satchel number for every delivery and will happily lodge a missing item report with Australia Post as required.  This is a lengthy process and we are unable to replace your items unless Australia Posts accepts that the parcel was misdeliverd by them and Australia Post covers the cost of replacement.

Insurance against loss of items is available from Australia Post in the form of Extra Cover.  Extra Cover provides you with cover for the specified value of your item (up to $5,000) if your item is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post for a cost of $1.50 per $100 of goods value.  Orders over $300 require Signature on Delivery $2.95 in addition to the Extra Cover charge to provide insurance.  Please request Extra Cover when ordering and allow an additional business day prior to posting for the insurance cover to be arranged for your parcel satchel.  We will email to confirm your order cost if this is requested – please be aware that there is an additional charge for Extra Cover.  

Australia Post Orders – please note that while all due care is taken in packing your order, we cannot be responsible for damage in transit. Australia Post do not offer any guarantee that your items will arrive in one piece regardless of how well we pack them and there is no insurance service available for damaged goods.

 

Overseas Delivery

Currently we do not ship orders outside of Australia.

 

Insurance

To insure your parcel Extra Cover needs to be purchased with Australia Post prior to the parcel being sent.  Extra Cover provides you with cover for the specified value of your item (up to $5,000) if your item is lost or damaged while being carried by Australia Post.  Please request extra cover when placing your order.  An additional fee will apply based on standard Australia Post cost for insurance.  Please request this when ordering and allow an additional business day prior to posting for the insurance cover to be arranged for your parcel satchel.  

Postal insurance can only be provided where you have requested this when ordering and paid the additional cost required for this service.  Postage and insurance costs will vary depending on the parcel size and type of service selected.  Australia post insurance only covers items lost in transit, not any damage to items during transit.  This option is not offered by Australia Post at all
